Zusi Ward is an expert in the hospitality industry, meeting the high standards of the international chains through the provisions of quality operating supplies and equipment, and brings that expertise to your house and apartment, turning living spaces into homes for the discerning.
Our History
TZW Hotel and Home Collection was founded in 2013 by Omozusi Ward in response to the gaps in the Nigerian hotel industry.
Prior to the company’s commencement, Mrs Ward had developed a taste for quality. She always loved well laid interiors, the beauty of a well set table, effectively laid out kitchen and the functionality of a well equipped hotel or home.
Having experienced all these in Turkey, on returning to Nigeria, she noticed local hotels imported almost all their cookware, plates and equipment. The plates available in the Nigerian market were ‘seconds’ — imported plates that hadn’t passed the quality control tests in their countries of origin and thus couldn’t be sold there but only to developing countries who wouldn’t mind using them.
So TZW Hotel and Home Collection were created to fill 3 gaps, specifically:
- It would serve as a procurement company for hotels, supplying plates that passed quality-control tests and met world-class hotel specifications.
- The company would make available, at every point in time, the very plates required by hotels. Thus eliminating the situation of having to switch brands due to unavailability of desired brands in the local market.
- Lastly, TZW would make these available in retail quantity — 1s and 2s. This dealt with another trouble Nigerian hotels were facing.
Soon after, TZW began supplying home electrical appliances, cookware, table settings, bathroom furnishings, cleaning appliances and more in addition to the hotel collection.
So far, the company has been a representative of renowned brands, making available products of high quality and competitive pricing to hotels and homes in Nigeria; efficiently filling the gaps that inspired its creation.
